Medium to light in flavor and body. Not overpowering, but lacking for my taste to be considered an above average barleywine. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2006 Thanks to Mr. Walker for this bottle. It poured a clear amber color out of the 33cl bottle with only the ghost of a head. Nose of buttery sweet grains and alcohol. Lots of dried fruits (cherry, raisen, cranberry) with a caramel sweetness and a burnt toast finish. Hops finish with a lasting pine presence. henrikb (1303), Aarhus, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Dark amber. red shine, big bubbled head; Very small nose with just a little malt and caramel; Soft body, very little carbonation, neutral; Into medium long finish, very little warmth, some alcohol, little aroma. Very neutral beer, with almost no character. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Bottle. Pours a copper body with a small white head. The aroma is minerally sweet with notes of alcohol and is essentially malt-driven. I didn’t find this to be entirely complex and I certainly would have preferred a little bit more hop character. Alcohol warmth is present.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2006 String malty character, clean nose with rich fruity. When stirred high quality vodka vapors appear. Amber looking, white ring around. Very clean, solid malty body. Alcohol just warms up this brew. Good session finisher. jacobwennbom (274), Uppsala, Sweden
