Opaque black color, nice cloudy brown head, lace. Cold coffee and ash aroma. A bit sweetie coffeish flavor. Suprisingly watery palate for 6% stout. Coffee is not dominating - less coffeish than name indicates - it more present in the aftertaste. I expected more from N.O.. argo0 (6897), Washington DC, USA

A hint of green bell peppers and a little smoke. Medium bodied, roasted and dry with a vegetable coffe note. Burnt and smoky. Dry finish. Nice, but the coffee don’t seem to enhance and complement, but rather contrast. GMCC2181 (860), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA
