Jan 24, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Black brown body and a small light tan head. Nose is coffee grounds, chocolate, and mud. Taste is dark roasted coffee with hot dark cocoa with some creme. Creamy mouthfeel and medium finish.

Opaque black color, nice cloudy brown head, lace. Cold coffee and ash aroma. A bit sweetie coffeish flavor. Suprisingly watery palate for 6% stout. Coffee is not dominating - less coffeish than name indicates - it more present in the aftertaste. I expected more from N.O..

Jan 8, 2009 Bottle 081129. Restrained aroma of chocolate and coffee with some caramelly notes. A hint of green bell peppers and a little smoke. Medium bodied, roasted and dry with a vegetable coffe note. Burnt and smoky. Dry finish. Nice, but the coffee don’t seem to enhance and complement, but rather contrast.

Jan 6, 2009 Bottle from robert at SL. Black, good head. Really good aroma of bitter coffee. Taste was a little let down after such a good teasing by the nose. Taste was a weak coffee taste. Thin and watery. Not bad, not good but not something I wouldnt get again... Thanks robert for sharing!

Jan 4, 2009 Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. Almost black color with tan head. Sweetish, coffeish and bready aroma. Good coffee flavor with some chocolate and dark bread. Tasty.
