| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2009 This Stout pours a nearly opaque dark brown color with a medium thin and foamy tan head that fizzes away steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and a bit of dark chocolate. Medium, dry body with flavors of roasted coffee and malt primarily. Touches of vanilla and chocolate are present as well. The finish is moderately bitter coffee and a little on the thin side. Decent overall, but probably not worth getting again considering the price tag. JaBier (1233), Capital City, Ohio, USA

Espresso. What is most impressive is the flavor development of the coffee during the overall taste. Very smooth, roasty, creamy, dark chocolate, and a light finishing bitters. Completely coffee oriented, nice. MAP (1089), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
