Oct 9, 2009 Draft. A very dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of coffee and roasted malt as well as medium notes of espresso beans and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of espresso as well as medium notes of roasted malt and sweet malt, and light notes of soy sauce, leading to a dry coffee finish.

Nov 21, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish golden glare and diminished tan head. Smooth chocolate aroma with a nice and light coffeeish note. Mild herbal coffeeish flavoured with a light bitterness showing through. Somewhat powderish chocolate flavoured too. Light body and mouthfeel. Smooth coffeish finish with a slowly growing bitterness.

Sep 24, 2008 Updated: Sep 26, 2008Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near black, rich pale beige head. Evident coffee aroma. Dryish and fairly clean. There’s dark powdery chocolate and a rich coffe flavour. The coffee is not powerful, rather distinct and balanced. Dry, lightly salty finish. A concentrated very elegant beer.

Clear medium to dark black color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, strong coffee. Flavor is light heavy chocolate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to ’medium to full’, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft.
