Draught at SBWF09. Pours out in a clear deep reddish amber colour with a low frothy white foam. Toasted malts, toffee and black currant in the aroma. Fairly light-bodied with notes of earthy and spicy hops, wild raspberries and burnt caramel. Medium-bitter finish of grass and black currant.

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2009) - Copper coloured. Fruity aroma with raisins and caramel. Fruity, tangy and malty taste with caramel and dried fruit.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2009) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with caramel and dried apricots. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dried apricots, grainy malt, toffee and spicy hops in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Decent enough, without getting too exciting.

Draught at Stockholm Beer and Whisky 2009. Clear copper, medium off-white head. Earthy, slightly potatoeish malt aroma with some spicy hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness.

Draught at Stockholm Beer and Whisky 2009. Clear orange coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, bisquits, hops and pine needles. Fruity flavour of bisquits, hay, hops, grass and pine needles. Hoppy finish.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear pale amber, small head. Appley nose. Sweetish and caramelly with notes of cardboard. Almost thin with low bitterness. Not really worthy the Nils Oscar name I’m afraid.
