Appearance: golden yellow w/ white head.
Flavor: disappointing (because it is a lager, I’m sorry but I just don’t like lagers), bitter, slightly sweet, well balanced, however not my style.
Palate: fizzy, rich Svesse (2613), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2006 (Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 3 June) Colour is golden, with a rocky head (like whipped cream), slowly disappearing leaving some laces. Nose is malty, nutty with butter-scotch and a lovely czech-style hop character. Some honey-like sweetness. Taste starts malty and nutty with butter-scotch and chestnut, turning into a smooth hoppy finish. Honey-like sweetness stays through the finish, and becomes a bit too sweet towards the end. The bottled version is slightly drier an more balanced, maybe not as complex. A very nice premium lager. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore

More flavor then I expected, with a nice balance between the malts and hops. Nice mouthfeel and pleasant aftertaste. jacobwennbom (274), Uppsala, Sweden

Very full body for a lager. The foamyness adds upp to a great feel on your tounge as you sip it. Best Sweidish beer I’ve had so far. gnoff (3570), Göteborg, Sweden

Slightly hazy color, thick creamy white head. Dominant malty scent. Big sweet taste, unexpected from the scent. Nice bitterness, a little fruity aftertaste.
Bottle in 2005. This is a nice, clean tasting lager. Good for drinking when you’re not after a lot of big taste, but you still want something way better than the biggest commercial beers.

Non filteret draught at Akkurat in Stockholm October 17, 2006: Slightly shady dark golden color, white to tan head. Light malty scent. Sominant malty taste with an acidic kick to it. A little bit sweet malty aftertaste. High bitterness. 5/3/6/3/11 = 2.8 KnutAlbert (3127), Oslo, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2006 Bottled. Round, golden beer with some grassy hops. A very full aftertaste makes this a good, if not a splendid, lager. larsga (2959), Oslo, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Small white head over copper body. Looks like your standard lager, though not too pale. Sweet malt aroma with notes of grassy hops and some fruitiness. A bit more aroma than your normal lager, and quite nice. Clean, sweet, caramelly malt taste with notes of straw, softly bitter, grassy aftertaste. Subtle, sweet, malty taste lingers. A very nice and well-made lager, with more taste than most, if not terribly exciting.
