Oct 3, 2008 small beige head, opac colour. roasted, sweet chocolate, coffee, flavour sweet malty, coffee. After having tried both slottskällans version and this i must say that I am very happy that there are so many great swedish breweries nowadays!

Sep 30, 2008 This black pour with a mocha top smells of rich roasted malt with tons of sweet chocolate. Equally sweet in taste but it does not go watery like some stouts. It holds its own with a nice crisp bite. It has a practically non existent finish.

Sep 28, 2008 Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and some coffee. It is actually relatively sweet, but still very enjoyable. Coffee is more in the aroma than in the flavor for me. Good though....random guy @ Sam’s in Chicago told me to try it. Good call.

Sep 25, 2008 Nice black of color with a foamy brown head. An aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits and weak liqurice. A flavor with roasted malt, weak chocolate and liqurice, and hints of smoke.

Sep 22, 2008 Nice dark pour with a moderate head. Nice full yeast and hops aroma with moderate hop overtones. A smokey licorice dark malt blend that is well balanced. Creamy but not that mouth filling. Sweet, but not cloyingly so. An excellent example of an Imperial stout. Balance gets it exta points. Nice job.

Sep 22, 2008 Pours a deep black with a medium tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet with milk chocolate, smoke, roasted malt, dark fruit and coffee. Flavor is chocolate, raisin, caramel, coffee and light liquorice. Finishes long, smoky and sweet. Medium body, very creamy texture..

Sep 21, 2008 Brewed in Sweden, Pours a very dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma is of dark chocolate, malts, and burnt wood. Taste of sweet chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts. The mouthfeel is super smooth with a slighty bitter finish. This Imperial stout is recommended......... :)
