Commercial Description:

Pours a crystal clear, medium orange-amber body. A large, frothy, off-white head shows good retention, settling very slowly to a thin, bubbly layer. Thick sheets of ultra-sticky lace coat nearly the entire glass. It looks like the prototypical IPA, but things are only downhill from there. The aroma is very buttery, with a distinct toffee malt background. Dry grains and notes of grassy, muted hops complete the nose. Flavors follow suit, with bitter, dry grass notes showing atop dry grains and butter-laden toffee. Medium-full bodied, moderately carbonated, slightly sticky, with lingering dryness. Overall, it is a decent IPA, but the astringency gets to be too much after about half a glass. Just too dry and bitter. Lacking balance.

Bottled. Beer is clear, medium-hued coppery amber. Head is moderate, creamy/frothy, beige, mostly lasting and leaves flecky lacing. Pretty.
The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain, toasted cracker, trace of caramel biscuit; Hoppy with light/moderate notes of grassy herb, brewed iced tea, light resin, trace of citrus zest; Light yeast note of underdone bread.
The flavor is moderately bitter, lightly/moderately sweet, trace acidic with a long, lightly/moderately bitter, trace sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is average.
Pleasant, restrained interpretation.

330 ml bottle. Coppery orange, with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with peach, citrus and floral hops. Flavour is sweet and fruity, with hoppy bitterness soon taking over. A pleasant and well balanced IPA.

330 ml bottle. Coppery color, medium head. Hoppy aroma, notes of cured wood. The taste is hoppy, as befits the style, but the hops give enough space for the sweet malts. Quite a well-balanced IPA.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 330 ml bottle. Medium copper pour, light white head. Peach marmalade-like aroma with hints of faint spruce. Flavor has some slight bitter notes with a background of peaches - underlying citrus notes - but not overly pronounced. Solid sticky mouthfeel.
