Hoppy aroma with a bit of grapefruit. Biscuity and refreshingly hoppy taste also featuring grapefruit. Nicely balanced and very refreshing. MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Bottle from Capones. Orange pour with off white head. Hoppy citrus aroma. Hoppy flavor with a slight tinny taste and citrus finish. This was ok but could have been blended better. Don’t just jam hops into beer make them blend with other ingredients for perfection. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Golden beer with medium white and smooth head. Aroma is slightly sweet with aromatic fruits. There are some sweet maltyness fighting with nice hoppiness and finally the hops win the battle. Nice to drink: smooth and medium carbonation. I would like to see more fruitfull hoppiness. Then this would be more fresh, but nice beer anyway. FatPhil (3480), Espoo, Finland

Golden, thin head. Initially citrussy hops, but a reasonable grainy aspect to the aroma too. Slightly fizzy, but not negatively so. I caught something soapy there too. Clean, but quite full, sweet malty body with a tangy and bitter kick that stays for a while. Not as brash as an American IPA, but not as refreshing as an English IPA. Enjoyable at first, but the hoppiness starts to dominate and begins to get annoying after a while. aliendan (25), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Clear orange wheat color. It’s got a syrupy and citrusy aroma with a hint of some sort of nut -- almond maybe. The flavor is quite sweet, caramel with a hoppy bitterness, with a creamy texture. Kind of like liquid crème brûlée. Doesn’t really taste like other IPAs, but I don’t really care because it’s got its own thing going for it. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Bottle, 33 cl. A gift from my friend Joshua in Malmö, Sweden. Pours clear orange yellow, white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, honey, hops (citrus). Flavor is the same with grass and hops bitterness. On the sweeter side, but I don’t detect peat or wet dog. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 13, 2008 11.2oz bottle for Christmas from wife. Aroma not as robust as most ipa’s but sweet malt citrus was average. Cooper body with off white head. Malt backbone with a good citrus lingering in the background. Not cool and crisp but as I have more from across the pond usually more malt flavored. Smooth on the palate good brew as the Giants and Cowpokes are tied 14-14. JK (2961), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 12, 2008 A very mediocre ipa, and there is no excuse for that for such an expensive beer. English hop character. Bitter and a lack of sweetness, which means this is all about the hops with light malt. Thin to medium palate, and no complexity. Only mild hop bitterness.
