Commercial Description:

330ml Bottle: Fruity, herbal aroma of hops, herbs, grass, and caramel. Poured amber in color with a small, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Good lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Medium bitter, lightly sweet flavor. Tastes of hops, oats, barley, caramel, and nuts. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Salty, bitter, dry finish.

(33cl bottle, purple label calling it India Pale Ale) Small off-white head that leaves nice lacing, atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/floral, peach/nectarine, light grapefruit, pine. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange. Fairly bitter without resin. Light-medium body, light acidity, chalk.

33cl bottle. Gold with a trace of white head; rich, sweet, orange aroma; light, sharp body, with citrus flvaours, rather chalky; and a stong sustained bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing.

Bottled, BB 12/07. Poured clear lighter orange with a short, well-kept cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up.. well.. not a whole lot.. some lighter caramel, toffee, and light fruits for sweetness and a touch of herbal and grassy hoppage.. more toffee and some adjuncts as it warms up. The flavor had raw alcohol notes amplifying corny notes, cardboard, and a little toffee across the middle.. tacky low-to-moderate dry floral bitterness surrounding.. flatter, rough finish (did pick up some nice oranges at least). Lighter-bodied, sharp, and extra dry on the palate.. nice refreshing bitterness at the finish. Overall not a very good beer.

Golden color. Heavy malty aroma with some adjunct smell and light citrus hops - not very appetizing. Flavor is grainy and like sawdust with alcohol - a high alcohol ESB that tastes like crap in my opinion. Sorry Sweden, but someone will have to send me Kaggen before I like your beers. This is crap IMHO.

Copper, thick head. Lovely lace. Aroma has loads of citrus and some hops. Tastes like it smells, rather crisp. Not bad, but very light compared to, say, Nøgne Ø IPA.

Clear light copper body. Small but full-flavored creamy head. Good amount of lacing. Citrus, biscuity nose. Carbonated, bubbly mouth feel. Dull, bready, mildly bitter flavor. Watery, middle of the road dry finish.

11.2 oz. bottle, from slob - thanks for this new import man! Pours clear, medium orangey amber with a small white head that lingers nicely and leaves spotty lacing. Aroma features toasty and caramel malts, nice floral hoppiness, a little summer fruit and citrus along with a light dusty character. Flavor is good, again featuring the caramely and fruity malts, citrus and floral hops with hints of dusty evergreen leave a pleasant lingering bitter/astringency in the finish, and a slightly ashy aftertaste. Medium body and tingly-creamy carbonation. More of a east coast style, well balanced IPA, and quite pleasant to drink. Thanks Bert!
