Commercial Description:

Beautiful clear amber colour thats glows under a fluffy white head. Smells strongly of citrus fruit (freshly squeezed lemon) and piney hops in abundance. Crisp, medium bodied middle, with taste of peppary spices (cardaman?) and wet grass. Nice refreshing hop bite at the end. Had a slight ’catacomb’ quality to it. A very pleasant Swedish IPA. Probably IPA lite by US standards, but easily available and enjoyable here in Sweden.

(Draught) Pours amber/red with a fluffy white head. Fruity aroma of citrus, pine, grass and some floral hops. Pineapple and notes of wet tobacco. Flavour of piney, rasiny, oily hops. Nice citrusy bitterness and a bit dry ending. Medium body. Solid.

12 oz bottle, via rickgordon. Pours a clear very bright copper colored body under a fizzy beige head that receded to a patchy thin film. Aroma is of light citrusy hops with an odd metallic undertone. Some light toasted and bready malt as well. Moderately bitter flavor, grapefruity hops and light crackery malt below. Finish lingers but fades to metallic and dried, leafy hops, somewhat unpleasant. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Finish is rather limp and lacking in crispness. Overall, just your basic APA, not sure it crosses into IPA territory.

Bottle. This beer I have to rerate later, because the amarillo hop dominated the beer in a, I’ll call it, wrong way at that day. I’m sure it’s better than the 2.7 I’ve given it.
6/10, 3/5, 4/10, 2/5, 12/20 = 2,7
Rerate: Now I got a bottle in ok conditions. The amarillo hops were ok this time and the rating went further up.
