| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Not a bad IPA. Light amber almost cloudy orange quite a bit lighter than most IPA brews . Off white head. Somewhat malty in flavor with a nice finish.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Biscuity malts and citrusy hop fruitiness bring the taste buds to huggable honeyed dextrins and wooden, resinous hop bitterness in this balanced (and aptly dried out) India Pale Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam protects the misty amber gold.
-This is not an IPA for the hop monster lover. This is meant for humble sessioning purposes and it does its job very well at that.
-Like most Nils Oscar beers I’ve had, the flavor profile is very clean and never pretentious.
-Although the hops start out rather spicy and citrusy, these exotic tendencies flutter away early on in the sip.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Pours clear copper with slightly frothy light tan foam head. The aroma is malt forward with light roast and moving toward an organic malt twang of staleness. Behind that is a citrus tangelo and hop earthiness that is just really too light for the style. The taste is very similar to the nose but with a stronger hop presence. The mildly or lightly roasted malts blend into a mixture of organic malt staleness and solid hop earthiness. Those notes are book ended by citrus tangelo hop bitterness. A bit too stale earthy tasting for me. aracauna (2385), Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with a fleeting head. The aroma is nicely hoppy, although I think some of the aromatics may have faded with the import time. The flavor is surprisingly malty. The cracker in the aroma fills out with an almost caramel and biscuit like quality in the flavor. Very pleasant IPA. beerbuzzmontreal (2911), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Clear golden pour with a medium, offwhite head. Interesting aroma of citrusy hops. Good flavor of citrusy hops with a quiet presence of malt and bitterness in the end. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. Interesting. trapez (806), Hilleroed, Denmark
