Mouthfeel is quite carbonated. Tastes of hops, butter and sweet toffee. Not really my favorite, abit too bitter and sweet. Pinball (3001), Allerød, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 20, 2008 nice bittersweet aroma. clear yellow, small white head. sweet and bitter like a pale ale, but it´s not very powerfull. might be the alc%. too much "ordinary" beer in the taste. But very good. Very drinkable. And "stronger" than the 5.3% alc. indicates. Acknud (792), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Doesn’t really taste like a pale ale. Sharp metallic bite. Brown pour with a soft head. Grassy hops on the nose. Ljunkan (399), Karlstad, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Updated: Jun 9, 200933 cl bottle from Systembolaget. I had good memories about this one. Aroma is lightly hoppy with citrus fruits. Flavour is lightly hoppy with citrus, grapefruit. Some malty caramel too. A bit of spicey yeast, which doesn’t really fit in. I think this was better a year ago or so? Or maybe it just was this bottle. Or something. porterhouse (1163), Alna, Maine, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2008 (330 ml bottle (labelled "India Pale Ale" from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/massachusetts/w target=blank>Julio’s Liquors) Pours hazy light amber with a tall biscuit head that’s a little rocky. Aroma of pine/grapefruit and a bit of bready caramel. Mouthfeel fairly smooth but lightly pebbly. Fairly full-textured. Lots of lightly foamy broken lacing. Flavor is medium-bitter with notes of light pine and grapefruit rind over some lightly bready caramel and vanilla. Even has a hint of nuttiness. Finishes fairly bittter and leaves a bit of a lasting bitter grapefruit rind coating on the tongue. A bit different than a US-style IPA with no floral or fruity notes. More like an ESB perhaps. Pretty tasty but a bit timid. Palidor19 (1792), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 17, 2008 not too much to rate about, the smell is european malts with a touch of honey. taste and palate is kinda weak. even though its an IPA it feels kinda weak in the taste. worth a try though. nick76 (2688), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Labeled India Pale Ale. The aroma has grassy hops with cereal and yeast. The appearance is amber gold with a good head. The flavor is like the aroma and not much like an IPA, meaning not much hop bitterness. The palate is average. Overall not that good. 1FastSTi (2588), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Pours to a glowing copper penny body with a thin but creamy white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is catty hops and really toasted pale malts. The flavor is extremely toasty malt. Some light grassy hops. Malt is in the forefront. Not really hoppy as I’d expect. Nutty brown ale?
