Bottled. Dark amber colour. Hm, Swedish X-mas again already in one bottle: Prune, Fig, juniper, ginger, anise, small notes of chocolate. Wonderful!

Bottled: Dark amber coloured. Clear. Beige medium sized head. Alcahol, fruit, sweetness, marzipan, cinnamon and other spices in the aroma. Chocolate, spices, sweetness and some fruits in the aroma. Has a light alcaholtouch on the lips in the end. Very good one.

Sampled at the 2004 RESP Raisins and grapes in the aroma. Dark amber color, low carbonation creamy head. Milk chocolate flavors, some raisins and spice. Finishes on a light cognac note. Very nice.

Sweet phenolic aroma, acetone-ethanol. Toffee malt, kerosene. Clear rootbeer brown, with thin head. Medium-heavy body with smooth carbonation. Sweet toffee, Tootsie Roll start, light bitter. Warming, with sweet cereal taste, ligt dry chalky after, sweet. Not too bad.

Not much of an aroma. Dark color, opaque, reddish brown no head. Flavor is grassy and sweet. Not much like any Belgian Strong Ale, but heck I liked anyway. Nils Oscar hops are slightly different than any one elses that I had. The more I have beers with them the more I like them. Medium bodied and sweet finish. Thanks Per!

Red Brown color. Bubbles at the edge. Nose full of sweetness. Huge raison flavors, very thin palate- almost "silver"like- mercury.

Burgundy color. Winey, yeasty aroma with some alcohol kick. A well made double, lots of raisin and alcohol...nothing special about this beer, but I liked it a lot for some reason...I think it went down smoothly yet still had a great, full flavor.
