(Bottled) Clear, red-brown color with quite small head. Mild, caramely, fruity and raisiny aroma. Sweet rye-pudding flavor with a mild licorice finish. Medium-bodied, sugary, oily and quite carbonated palate. A decent, but light and sugary imitation of a Belgian dubbel. And why filter it???

Clear brown with some red tint. Smallish head that left quickly. Wonderful heady aroma of caramel alcohol and rich red wine. Lightly sweet, spicy and fruity. Thanks to Per for sending this differently enjoyable brew!

"Belgian-style with rye", the brewery claims. Amber-brown colour pours bright. Aroma is of cherry, earthy dark malts, marzipan. Dryish but malty palate across which flows light toffee notes.

Sampled at the RESP 2004
Raisins, chocolate and plums in the aroma. Brown amber, low carbonation, creamy head. Wood and chocolate tastenotes - sample was small and late in the session. Kind of light body - creamy mouthfeel.

Light roastiness, chestnut, neutral fruit. Dark amber brilliant clear, with foamy off-white lacing head. Medium silky body with light carbonation. Starts light sweet, toasted sugar, grass, marshmallow. Light malt finish, with just a little bitter. After is a dry nutty bitter.

Bottled @ NynäshamnBurgundy coloured. Clear. Thin off white lasting head. Chocolate, spices (cloves, ginger, cinnamon) and alcahol in the aroma. Flavour is spicy as well (the christmas spices mentioned before), has cocoa notes and is quite alcaholic. Is medium bodied and has a somewhat grassy aftertaste. Dies rather quickly on the palate.
