Clear red-brown color. Sweet and alcohol scent. Smooth mouth feel and taste. Nice and drinkable. Low bitterness.

Sep 6, 2006 RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. Colour like sherry oloroso, minimal head. Sherry aroma too. Sweetish flavour with pastry notes, quite nice.

Sep 3, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is malty, alcoholic and plummy. Flavour is malts, alcohol, dark fruit and some weak bready hints are also there. Pleasant one. Nice and quite full palate.

Aug 30, 2006 Aroma is similar to the barley wine with fruits and raisins. Taste is similar, not as sweet as expected and a bit toned down for some reason.

Sep 23, 2005 Updated: Mar 13, 2007Looks like a coke from my glass. Aroma is sweet(raisins), full of earthy type hops and mildly alcoholic. After taking a drink of it, I would have never thought it was an Old Ale, the bodies is thin and not too flavorful, no hops to speak of. Not much of a finish at all.
