Good mild malty aroma. Bown to burgundy body, with a small tan head. Malty and sweet flavor, a bit thin but rather smooth.

A hazy brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet and quite spicy. The flavor is malty with caramel being most dominant, but also quite spicy.

Bottled: Reddish almost burgundy coloured. Light brown dense head. Sweet and spicy aroma. Flavour is spiced and fruity with light cocoa notes. Is sweet and spicy in the end. Well, had expected more from this one of my favourite Sweedish breweries.

Dark brown, great head. Aroma from milk chocolate, vanilla and sweet fruit. Vanilla flavor, nutty, creamy with smoky notes. Mild finish.

Bottled. Redbrown, frothy head. Sweetish aroma and flavour. Fruity, toffee-ish. I think this is getting better by time.

Bottle - 500ml. Nice dark copper body topped with a beige creamy head that lasts. Strong malty nose with brown sugar, caramel and toffee hints. Alcohol remains well hidden. Taste is complex and well-balanced. It starts with strong malt and sugar flavors, and ends with a long bitter finish that leaves a delightful warming effect. Superb!

No head after 5"; very big bubbles from Coca-Cola coloured beer. Vanilla, straw, dark malts - and rotting meat, nothing fierce, of course, just a waft of raw, unpleasantly warm going-ons. Somewhat bready too. Taste is pure gingerbread, industrial speculoos really, quite dry, bitterish on subdued sweet. I detect spices: all dry and bitter rather than sweet: nutmeg, cinnamon bark, turmeric... Bit fruity, quite spicey finish. Long lasting Coca-like carbonation. Well bodied, thinner but velvety texture. Body is never N.O. main feature. Somehow this one is less open, less inviting than the 2003.

clear and bright ruby-brown colour, no foam, malt, licorice, grapefruit and a good hoppiness in the nose, sweet and full-bodied, long dry bitter and a bit smokey malty finish - raw and lacking of complexity; probably too young (thanks to fiulijn for this beer)
