courtesy of Per - clear bordeaux colour with a fast disappearing foam; aroma of dried fruits, malts and grapefruit; quite sweet with an acidic touch, rounded mouthfeel and a medium to full malt body; finishes bitter and fruity with light alcohol and spiced notes

500ml bottle from the Systembolaget. Poured a ruddy red colour with soapy head that dissapated quickly - leaving no trace at all, giving the appearance of lifeless, dull beer. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee and a touch of chocolate. Initially very sweet taste, followed up by weak chocolate bitterness and a thin finish. Mouthfeel was syrupy and sticky. Basically if you like sweet malt and caramel this beer is for you. For me it was disappointingly one-dimensional for Nils Oscar.

A deep red beer with a fast diappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet iwth notes of berries, malt, and flowers, as well as hints of toffee. The flavor is lovely sweet and crisp, combined with acidic notes of cowberries, and subdued notes of spices. In the aftertaste the notes of berries lingers for a long time, together with a light note of alcohol.
