Clear deep amber with reddish notes and a fine light, amber head. Hops, spice, malt, caramel and toasted. Fine balance between hoppy bitterness and sweetness from malt!

(50 cl bottle) Weak malty scent, grainy and some yogurt. Chocolate, bitter smell. Shady red to dark copper color, tan head. Sweet thin taste. Thin mouthfeel. Boring.

Dark brown color; poor head. Poor aroma. The taste is quite good, with a good mix of caramel and malt, giving a mouthfeel round enough; quite English, but less hopped. Overall is brewed in a fairly good way, but the idea is anything special. Ordinary.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2006. Reddish brown color with small head. The aroma is sweet, malty, biscuity, nutty, caramelly and toffeish with hints of melon. The flavor is sweet and bisquity with some caramel. The maltiness is good but this is too sweet.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 6 Oct. Rerate: draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No 68, Stockholm, 14 Dec) Dark brown colour, slightly hazy with small beige head. Malty nose with caramel, toffee, chocolate, dark fruit and a nice hoppy aroma. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit (prunes, raisins), chocolate and a hint of warming alcohol sweetness. Nice, spicy hop character in the finish. Good beer, it has gained a lot since the first taste in october.

[Sampled at SBF -06] Amber with a bubbly head. A bit smoked with vegetable-notes. A lot of bitterness with some breadiness. Needs some more time to mature.
