| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Very dark ruby ith a small off-white head. Aroma of dark sugar, caramelly malt, dried fruits, and a hint of diacetyl. Rich malt clearly dominates. Dry and malty flavour probably the ultimate companion for Scandinavian Christmas foods. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 19, 2009 A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s pre NYE tasting. Dark cloudy brown with a thin but lasting beige head. An attractive beer. Very fruity with some light hoppage. A little too raw on the malt but the lovely fruity and smoky finish brings it right back on track. Pretty good stuff. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden
