Me like! Lots of coffee and pure malt, grain, love its aroma. Dark brown colour, clear. Off-white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma has lots of coffee, notes of laqurice, caramel, roasted, fine grain. Flavor is mainly...not sweet, more faint malty, finish is bitter. Long duration. A bit watery for the 7,7%

Bottle. Brown, golden brown cream. Coffeeroast nose. Toasted, nutty, coffeeish, light smoked. Ok balance. Medium to light body. Light toasted aftertaste, dark chocolate stays on the tongue. Enjoyable.

(Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-11-29) Deep brown and hazy. Medium sized tan coloured head. Roastedness and chocolate in nose. Full bodied palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Roastedness, bitterness, malts, chocolate, some saltiness and sweetness in taste. Sweetness, roastiness and chocolate in aftertaste.

Sweet coffee aroma. Pleasant carbonation. Lovely burntness, some zing. This is almost verging on a stout rather than a scotch ale. It is a simple one, but very tasty. Peanuts in the finish. Decent hops too. A bigger beer than previous years, but not particularly over-the-top. Very tasty.
