A dry and grassy bitterness with dark sugar and coffeebeans.

Nov 21, 2008 50cl bottle: Pours dark brown with a small creamy head & lacings. Nose is roasted malts, caramel, nuts & dark fruits. Taste has coffee & a little chocolate. Fine bitter roastyness. Medium & smooth mouthfeel. Vaguely ashy & metallic. Pretty enjoyable!

Nov 20, 2008 Flaske. Flot mørk rødbrun øl med et fint skum. Dejlig maltet med den karakteristiske gær fra Nils Oscar. Havde den egentlig som en Belgisk øltype, især grundet gæren, men hvad fanden. Fin øl.

Nov 19, 2008 Bottle. Clear reddish brown colour with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma with cofee notes. Medium bodied. Sweet spicy flavour with lots of malt and caramel. Very nice brew.

Pours a beautiful ruby brown with a fine, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma is mild, some spice, ginger, cloves. A good deal of roasted malts and dark fruits. Some sweetish coffee. Super nice, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is very roasted, but not harsh, good hazel nuts, some coffee. Rather good dryness as well. Some light chocolate and spicy finish. Ginger, vanilla, cloves, anise. Great.
