Bottle from Frederikshavn. Very dark, small head. Complex beer. Lots of dark fruit, dry chocolate, a hint of smoke. Lovely for slow sipping, a real winner.

Bottle, bought @ SuperBrugsen, Vonsild.
Pours a beautiful ruby brown with a fine, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma is mild, some spice, ginger, cloves. A good deal of roasted malts and dark fruits. Some sweetish coffee. Super nice, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is very roasted, but not harsh, good hazel nuts, some coffee. Rather good dryness as well. Some light chocolate and spicy finish. Ginger, vanilla, cloves, anise. Great.

Dark with beige head. Nice darak sugar, caramel, dried fruits. Impressive malts. A bit dry aftertaste. Note: I tried this in March, maybe it has matured a bit.

Pours a dark brown / almost black color with a large white foamy head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits, some burnt notes, a light smokiness, spruce needles (or well, something like that). Flavour is quite dominated by the malt but on the other hand not that sweet. A lot of roasted coffee, chocolate, some burnt notes and a light smokiness here too. Liquorice, a bit of fruitiness, spruce needles. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Slightly dry. Balanced and nice, but not overwhelming. Smooth and filling on the palate. Mediumbodied, low carbonation. A good and drinkable Christmas beer from Nils Oscar. I like it!

courtesy of Per - very dark brown colour with a persistent creamy beige foam; solid malty aroma with notes of nut, wood and vanilla; creamy mouthfeel with a respectable malt body and a late bitterness; very long malty and wallnutty aftertaste
