Jan 28, 2009 Bottle. Clear dark amber colour with a medium off white head. Malty aroma and taste with notes of toffee and fruits with a semi bitter finish.

Jan 18, 2009 A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s pre NYE tasting. Mid brown with a thin off white head. Sweetish malty aroma with plenty of caramel and faint fruit in the background. Faint wood and smoke. A fiarly pleasant smell. Similar flavour with a faint vegetable hint in the finish that lets it down a little. Nice enough jule beer though.

Dec 20, 2008 330 ml bottle. A low offwhite coarse head upon a shining dark copper-brown colored body. Inviting aroma of freshly baked bread, cream-caramel, dusty hops and ripe citrus. Clean and refined malt flavor, nicely balanced by some fresh bittering hops. Toffee and fruit notes. Silky mouthfeel. Rounded malty and bitter ending. Another reliable one from Nis Oscar.

Dec 16, 2008 Bottle, 33cl - Red brown beer with a fast disappearing tan head. Aroma is hop aromatic with notes of canned mandarins, also some caramel and spices. Flavor starts with roasty malts and continues with hints of spices and licorice. Ends with a nice hoppy finish.
