Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 2 Dec 2008. Reddish brown colour with firm, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, toffee, dark bread, dark fruit and orange peel. Malty, slightly smoky nose with notes of caramel, toffee, ryvita, dark fruit and hints of spices. Nice balanced with a medium, spicy bitterness in the finish. In short: caramel and toffee with a citrus peel twist.

Pours dark red with light beige head and nice lacing. Wonderful aroma of bread, toffee & caramel. The flavor does not match the aroma though, sweet with a long lasting bitterness with a slight metallic finish. Body feels a bit thin despite of its sweetness.

Golden sparkling amber with an offwhite head. Sweet butterscotch aroma with a fresh hint of citrus from the cascade hops. Quite light, sweet malty flavor with butterscotch, some spicy herbs and orange. Perfectly balanced with a smooth and mellow mouthfeel. Very pleasant, can´t wait to have it at the traditional swedish christmas dinner.

Bottle. Clear cooper brown colour with a medium light beige head. Lots of sweet malt and caramel in aroma. Not much hops. Flavour is rich malty with very light spices and a touch of hops. Bread like and smooth. Not very xmas like though.
