Tap at The Rover (Gothenburg). Wonderful red/brown colour with good head. Nice aroma with hints of chocolate, nuts and carmamel. Taste is also very nice, bready and malty and again caramel with a bitter finish. Also good on bottle.

33 cl bottle. Amber color. Ok off-white head. Sweet, malty, ok hoppy bitterness, some fruit. Abit thin, but still a good beer.

Pours dark amber/brown with a creamy head. Aroma is of dusty, ashy roasted malts. Some bitter roast & sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Medium to low carbonation. Since this is in the "vienna" category its OK. But that dusty & ashy edge more of the beers from the brewery have ... not addictive...

330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Christmas Beers 2007) Dark orange to brown, thin head. Honey malty aroma. Dry nutty malty taste. Bottle carbonation’s a little harsh, but nothing a good swirl can’t fix. Very tasty brew.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Copper-red color with a very small, diminishing head. Nice aroma of toasted malts and pretty pungent hops. Flavor is caramel and some roast, but rather dry, and a nice grapefruit hop balance that is pretty bitter. Light and slick palate. Feels like an octoberfest with APA hopping to me. Interesting combo, and it works out okay, thought it’s lacking just a little in the malt department.

Tasted 2007-12-06. Bottle, 2007 version. Pours clear brown/amber with big beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Notes of smoke, roasted malt, caramel and maybe a little chocolate. Ditto flavour. Nice bitternes in the end. Very balanced and very tasty for a 5,2%’er.
