Bottle. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt & caramel but also a less pleasant tone of cauliflower. Nice roasted taste, perhaps a wee bit thin.

Bottle 2007. Clear medium amber red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate hoppy, grass, pepper. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, and a nice dry / dusty finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (031107)

Dark red color with a fast dissolving off-white head. Sweet lightly roasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, toffee and spices. The taste is burned/roasted malt with notes of caramel, toffee, spices, some sourness and hop bitterness.

Expect the unexpected. Oily with lemon and herbs. Malty, bready and moderate bitterness. Thin body. I’m not sure exactly what I had expeced when poured this brew into my glass but not this.

Off-white head on a dark red-brown body. Has a comfortable, filling taste, very well suited for cold Scandinavian Winter days. Hints of caramel and nskomed malt. Perfec ndrink with a warm evening meal.

Bottle, bought @ SuperBrugsen Bramdrupdam. Pours a depp dark red-ish brown with a small, slightly fizzy off white head that lasts only a short time. Aroma is deep with lots of burnt caramel, herbs, liqourice and slight spices. Lively but full mouthfeel. Flavour is powerful, with a good roasted caramel edge to it. Some smokyness and a good background of chocolate balanced nicely with Christmas spices that are very well subdued.

Clear dark amber beer with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is indeed a little strange, something roasted, toasted, fruity... perhaps dry roasted lemon peel would be like this? The flavour comes together much better. Roasted and dry, slightly astringent malt.
