| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2007 Bottle. Clear, golden, with an off-white head. Caramel and malt in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, but with the added joy of some roasted or lightly burnt malt. Medium body. It’s definately not a bad beer, but I am not overly enjoyed with it, it’s a bit boring, and I would like more hops in it. (070705) gunnfryd (3615), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 1, 2007 330 ml bottle. Nice dark golden body with a light beige head. Aroma has malt and caramel. Flavor is malt and caramel, but unfortunately there is also an unpleasant sour and metallic subflavour. Probably something wrong with my bottle regarding the remaining raters. Strong bready nutty aroma. Very crisp with a sharp, but balanced, hop aroma. Nutty and weakly roasted malt flavours. Very nice roasted crisp beer. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Clear light copper lager that wears a large, lasting, delicately laced off-white head. beautiful. Distinct nutty maltiness is also toasty, rather dry and gently fruity (think figs, orange tea, raisins). Some sugary hints manage to peak through in a subtle manner, some kind of burnt caramel perhaps, but the toastiness keeps the lead. Firmly grainy, yet it develops a growing, more than fair powdery bitterness, quite leafy, grainy while the crisp palate feels medium bodied and excellently carbonated. A remarkable lager, very firm and pleasant texture.
