(Bottle) Pours amber. Light roasted aroma with, grain, cheap milk chocolate, toffee and crisp bread Hoppy with tones of flowers and grass. Light roasted flavour with toffee and caramel. Hoppy with a medium bitterness. Some smoke and fruitiness both the in the aroma and in the flavour. Light to medium body.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden cobber with a big creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma with lots of fruits (cranberries). Has a metallic edge. Flavour begins flowery bitter, then turning sweet with a cranberry sourness kicking in at the very last minute.

Very light for a vienna. Only tinges of copper and auburn throughout mostly an orange-amber body. Usual small, but dense and creamy off-white head sits well atop. Light lacing and high clarity with large bubbles drifting lazily upwards.
Thick honey and sweet dough in the nose, backed by a bit of orange and tart cherry. Growing almost astringently spicy and letting up on the smooth sweetness. Cinnamon-like, almost. Medium strength of aroma, with no alcohol or brewing flaws. The grains are well-extracted but while I’m no stickler for style, the dry spiciness and odd fruity-honeyish malts just come across strangely and don’t seem to correctly balance or complement the malts.
Very sweet for a vienna, not surprisingly, being from Nils Oscar. More phenolic-like cinnamon and/or nutmeg that really almost reminds me of a Belgian ale. But watery, also, which seems to be a recurring theme from Nils Oscar. Undercarbonated and what is there is loose. I understand it’s not easy to bottle lagers, but this needs crispness very badly. Grainy, lightly hay-like hops are lost to the strong malt sweetness. No alcohol noted.

Courtesy of oh6gdx. <!-- P --> The aroma features orange zest, mild spice, toasty caramel malt. Body is a ruddy brown and holds a lazy white head that starts small and gets smaller in a hurry. Fore holds medium hop bitterness. Watery feel and flavor. Tastes mostly of watered down malt and steeped hops. really bottoms out flavor wise in the middle and finish. Dissapointing beer from a good brewery.

LCRBM2: hops (cascade?) and blackcurrant in the aroma. Hopbitter, flowery flavor with red berries. Earthy hopbitter aftertaste. Quite pleasant.

Bright orange-amber; with a disappearing brownish head. Dry, but discreet hops, a bit of turmeric. Sweet, alcoholic taste, but at the same time dry and spicey - though flavourwise not necessarily turmeric any longer. Medium bodied, lightened somehow by the alcohol. Good beer, presenting itself stronger than it is, just not really distinctive as some of this brewery’s products are. Still.

[2nd Low Countries RateBeer meeting] Heavy aroma of hops and malts. Clear, amber coloured with an off-white, medium head. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty with fresh hops. Medium body. Not impressive.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Clear. Dense beige head. Caramel, sweetness and light berries in the aroma. Flavour is light roasted. Caramel and herbs is there. Some flowery notes as well. Medium bodied and quite smooth. Is sweet and caramelly in the end with a vague bitterness.
