Mmm.A thick white head covering a brownish reddish golden beer with an excellent fragrance. The flavor is full of hops and caramell, sweetness well balanced and the aroma deep and rich. The bitterness is excellent. The beer is excellent. YES!!

Bottle. The colour is red-brown; the head is large, airy, firm and beige.

The complex smell got a fine flavour of aroma hops (Fuggles? Challenger?), a touch of malt, some bitterness and a sweet note.

The carbonation is both refreshing and gentle.

The taste is first hoppy with a touch of Madeira, and then it develops into a full-bodied taste with a mild bitterness and a sour-earthy touch. The aftertaste is long and balanced with some earthy notes.

The best beer from Nils Oscars I have reviewed so far: A well-crafted, complex and musty vienna lager

Amber colored, pours with a good size head. The appearance of this beer in a glass is classic. Malty carmel flavor with notes of pepper, and some burnt taste. Slight and interesting finish, a truely great beer. Thanks Per

Amber coloured. Flowery, citric, and roasty aroma. Clean, firm maltiness. Very bitter finish. A great beer as usual from this brewery.

A very flowery/hoppy aroma, extremely tasty beer, nice maltiness in the middle and then very hoppy, bitter finish. Surprised that it was a Vienna though, tasted like and English bitter or something. Very tasty beer.

Bottle 3/4-06. Dark red colour, wit a nice creamy foam. Aroma of hops and coffee, and a hint of dark chocolate. Reminds me of ther´s Kalas öl. Medium body, and nice bitter finish.

330 ml bottle. Light copper colour. Crystal clear. Thick medium-sized off-white head. Strong bready nutty aroma. Very crisp with a sharp, but balanced, hop aroma. Nutty and weakly roasted malt flavours. Very nice roasted crisp beer. Long-lasting light hop bitterness.

Amber coloured. Very pleasant malty aroma. Very hoppy for a vienna. Interesting and complex brew.
