Second rating As "Nils Oscar Vår Ale" on Bishops Arms Järntorget, Göteborg. In late April, 2009 Clear dark brown color, fluffy tan head. Spicy and herbal hoppy scent. Nice herbal hoppy taste as well as a dry grainy maltiness. Medium mouthfeel, rather high bitterness. Well balanced and very nice. 7/5/8/3/15=3.8 KyotoLefty (1491), Kyoto, Japan

Just when I feel the aroma of this brew I see this is an Oscar. It has something typical to it. It´s the special malt. Aroma is earthy, bready, malty and wood.
Flavor has malt, wood, and little smoke.
