Aug 21, 2009 Smoked Porter. 500ml bottle. Dark pour of reddish-brown, light tan head. Pleasant smoke aroma. Sweet smoke (candied smoke, is that possible?) Sweet toffee, still burning charcoal, smoke, ash, chocolate, and a hint of roasted grains. Light medium bodied. Very well balanced. Lots of fun. Smoke is not very overpowering in this bottle, which is nice. Smoke is the dominate character thought.

Quite black, brown layered head.
Chocolate, smoke, roast good aromatic hop wallop.
Medium sparkly body.
Hoppy aftertaste. A bit roast and smoke retronasal

Aug 9, 2009 Thick, dark pour with a nice foamy head. Thick roasty chocolate and malty aroma. Silky, creamy beer with a chocolate taste and a smooth finish. This was damn good. I didn’t really taste any smoke in this one.

Aug 2, 2009 500 ml bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to Ole R. ABV is 5.9%. Black colour, big to moderate tan head. Intense aroma of smoked and roasted malts, notes of bonfires and tar. The flavour is also roasty and smoky, initially fairly dry, with just a slight sweetness and acceptable hops in the finish. Hints of liquorice. Ashy aftertaste.

Jul 27, 2009 Bottle @ RBESG Grand tasting 2009. Dark brown color. Smoked meat in the aroma and flavor. Mango in the flavor. Some malty sweetness. Nice and well made beer.

Aroma of smoke, roasted malts, a bit of cream. Flavour is light roasted malts, sweet creamy chocolate, a bit of smoke, liquorice, light chocolate bitter finish with a hint of ash. Medium bodied.

Jul 22, 2009 50 cl bottle from Systembolaget Jokkmokk. Pours black with a brown medium head that dissapears. Intense and great aroma of smoked malt,with som notes of leather and cigar. Flavor is quite weak but it has a growing roasted taste that is long and good.
