Jul 22, 2009 50 cl bottle from Systembolaget Jokkmokk. Pours black with a brown medium head that dissapears. Intense and great aroma of smoked malt,with som notes of leather and cigar. Flavor is quite weak but it has a growing roasted taste that is long and good.

Jul 15, 2009 Mobile rating. Slight lactic nose. Mild smoke, roast, cold coffee, chocolate malt. Weak body, thin, watery but not ruined... Just strangely weak and unfulfilling. Moderate astrongency, seems like black patent malt and less actual smoke/peat. Cheesy, weird.

Jul 15, 2009 (50cl bottle) Small and creamy beige head atop brown-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, smoke, some chocolate, roast. Taste is medium sweet, smoked cheese, some roast, milk chocolate. Light-medium body.

Jul 8, 2009 Bottle, 50cl - Opaque dark brown beer with a large beige brown creamy head. Aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, smoked malt and licorice. Flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, licorice, dried fruits and coffee. Nice effort on brewing a smoked by Nils Oscar.

Jun 29, 2009 500ml bottle from State Line. Very handsome looking brew, thick and oily with a nice one-finger tan head. The aroma is very pleasant, with chocolate and molasses enveloping the smoke (which itself is pretty understated - think Stone). Body is smooth and a bit too thin. There was something about the flavor, however, which ended up a bit off-putting, as if you weren’t getting the smoke itself so much as the ashtray.

330ml bottle, 5.9% abv. Thanks to Finn for buying and sharing. Off-white head with spotty lacing. Dark-brown body. Rather carefully smoked aroma. Roasted and dusty malts with a touch of spices attached to the flavour. Medium bodied. Nice enough, but perhaps a bit too cautious on the smoky part (Party on Midsummer Eve, Tromsø 23.06.2009)

Jun 25, 2009 Flaske 0,5l kjøpt påSystembolaget i Kiruna. Delt med Rune Sankthansaften 2009. Svart. Lav skumdannelse. Svak røyklukt i aromaen som forøvrig ligner en "normal" porter. Litt vassen smak men en helt grei porter med gjennomgående røykpreg.
