Mild but reasonably real saison. gyllenbock (238), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 15, 2009 On tap at Glenfiddich Warehouse in May 09.
Beer color reminds a lot of wheat beer, cloudy yellow. Fairly large solid foam that remains long, it looks really inviting.
The aroma very spicy with hints of malt and fruit. White pepper and orange were the most dominant, there were also some hints of yeast and bread in the background.
The taste was dominated by pepper and fruitiness, especially orange. A slight acidity, the body was light and carbon dioxide content is rather high. No bitterness. Quite refreshing.
