courtesy of Per - clear and bright golden-bronze colour with a little white foam; estery nose with notes of pears and loads of spices; full-bodied and with an heavy sweetness; sticky and oily; dry and sharp bitterness before a long spicy and fruity finish where a touch of solvant and a strong alcohol kick appear - heavy and not easy to drink

Bottle. Clear golden with white head. Citrus and a bit of honey? Tastes a bit strange, not what i expected. Does not remind me of a tripel. The alcohol is quite dominant, unbalanced.

Clear golden with very little head. Aroma is honey, beeswax and alcohol. Lots of pine and zesty citrus in the flavour; like chewing on grapefruit peels. Very unbalanced, something went awfully wrong with this one.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Malty spicy aroma with some yeasty hints. Sweet malty spicy and yeasty flavor. Sharp slightly sour spicy yeasty finish.

Hazy blond color with huge head. Strange aroma, with some medicine and plastic, then showing a more classic aroma, later, with dry malt and spices. Good mouthfeel, some sugars, dry malt, spicy, with lemon zest too. Probably because of the fermentation or maturation it’s a bit strange, but good Triple.

(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, spicy and alcohol scent, also phenoles and medicine cabinet. Not very pleasant at all. Taste almost makes me puke, damn that’s utterly disgusting! Phenolic, alcohol and some bitter plantlife. Can’t even take notice of the mouthfeel, though it feels sharp. Strange bitterness.

330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Swedish Days 2007) Amber, thin head. Herby and rubbery sweet aroma. Rubber and liquorice in the taste. Sticky and cloyey. Not very sophisticated.

Golden with a thick white foam. Yeasty and fruity notes. Wet cardboard ! Sour and spicy taste. Medium body with a sour & sweet finish.
