Pale amber colour. Rich aroma from sewer. It dominates totally. Taste is like a bad Eastern European Lager - raw, with pilsner malt base and lots of plug-hole. No almond paste, no fruitiness, no freshness. Bit bitter, which in itself feels a bit malplace here. Really bad. Furseth (1339), Kungälv, Sweden
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Bottle: Clear golden colour, with a nice head. Aroma was leather?,citric, maltynes was there too, alcy nose. Strange aroma! Flavor was in the same way strange mix of diffucult to explain, but I will tray enyway,: Mild creamy mouth feeling, sour. Has this beer been infected? Medium body, and medium strange finish. Marsiblursi (1659), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 3, 2007 (Bottle) Pours clear golden to light amber. Strange trippel aroma with tones of
leather, smoked wet wood, burned plastic, incense, tar smelling rope, some grassy and flowery hops and hints of sweet fruits. Undertones of green apples, citrus and maybe some spices and herbs. Flavour of green apples, citrus, mostly lemon and oranges. Undertones of wet wood, smoke, bitter herbs and tar. Raw and light acid mouthfeel. Juicy but a bit unclean. This is a very bad example of an Abbey Tripple. Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. ekstedt (2456), Göteborg, Sweden
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma dominated by an unpleasant a stale burnt rubber note, backad up by some sourness. Medium bodied and smooth, light sweetness, dry and sour finish. Something is obviously wrong with this brew. brunnsbe (55), Helsinki, Finland
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Man, this was bad. I guess the whole batch got infected by bacteria, we tried two bottles with my friends and both was as unpleasant. How can a brewery like Nils Oscar approve a beer like this for sale?!? sayravai (3787), Helsinki, Finland
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 1, 2007 (Bottled) Clear amber with almost no head. Quite unpleasant glue aroma with hints of something very remotely Belgian. The same glue continues in the flavor, with some pale, grainy maltiness. Medium-bodied, low-carbonated palate. Either this was a bad bottle, or the brewery has no idea of how to brew a tripel.
