Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival, 2007. A light golden beer with a huge lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of spices - especially coriander and carraway seeds. The flavor is sweet malty againg with strong notes of spices, but this time primarily coriander.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Spiced and somewhat burned plastic aroma. Sweet cornish and metallic flavoured with a light spice note. Has a vague caramel malt sweetnes but otherwise with a classic dry and mild spiced impression. Vague sweetness into the finish.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden, rocky head. Aroma of citrus and burnt plastic. Sweet and dense, notes of soap and a rather intrusive flavour of burning table tennis balls. Near full bodied with some juicy orange flavour. Surely the burnt plastic flavour isn’t intended. The first ever Nils Oscar release I’ve been disappointed in.

Bottle at Nya Tröls, Malmö. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of berries with notes of yeast, spices and burnt plastic. Fruity flavour of spices with notes of yeast and hops. Spicy and hoppy finish. Mediocre tripel. Have tasted one more bottle, where the burnt plastic were much more evident.

Hazy blond color with huge head. Strange aroma, with some medicine and plastic, then showing a more classic aroma, later, with dry malt and spices. Good mouthfeel, some sugars, dry malt, spicy, with lemon zest too. Probably because of the fermentation or maturation it’s a bit strange, but good Triple.

Golden color, a big white head. Sourish aroma, some bubblegum. Hoppy, crisp with some grassyness. Simple trippel.

courtesy of Per - clear and bright golden-bronze colour with a little white foam; estery nose with notes of pears and loads of spices; full-bodied and with an heavy sweetness; sticky and oily; dry and sharp bitterness before a long spicy and fruity finish where a touch of solvant and a strong alcohol kick appear - heavy and not easy to drink
