Deep mahogany in colour with a small off-white head. Strong aroma of hops and some sweet caramel. Awesome complexity, nutty along with roasted malt. I thoroughly enjoyed this and am hoping to visit the brewery if I make it out to Tucson next week. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Lots of fresh malt grain flavors going on in the palate. Some saaz hops detectible in the finish-put a nice tingle on the tongue. decent brown ale Padron4KM (400), Chandler, Arizona, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 1, 2004 Definitely one of Nimbus’s best brews. Heavy enough for your typical dark beer drinker, but light (not in color) enough for someone new to the scene. Nice hints of nuts and chocolate. Nice color and head. GEOBRAU (182), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2004 Updated: May 2, 200512 oz bottle. Pours brick red/brown with a fluffy tan dimpled head. Aroma is sweet and malty. I truly do not see any bubbles rising from the beer. Flavor is nutty malt and a great balance of slight sweetness and bitterness that seem to void each other out into perfect equilibrium. Light/Medium body. Very tasty. Re-Rate from 4.2 to 3.5.
