Commercial Description:
A dark brown ale deriving maltiness from two types of American crystal malts, yet not overly heavy in body. Rounded with a nutty flavor from chocolate malt and a hint of black patent malt. Finished with aromatics from Czech Saaz hops.

An average color of brown with decent sized foam that didnt awe me at all. Aroma is mild and boring with no real scent grabbers. The flavor however shocked me like a static electricity charge with how sour and tart this brown ale was. It took many sips to get used to it.

Bottle: Dark brown, huge ruby hues, moderate off-white head, frothy, sparce lacing.   Soft roasted malts, slight caramel, a little appleskin and charred wood too.   First thing noticed is a somewhat thin mouthfeel.   Body is moderate, yielding some pale roasted malts, charred wood, very slight coffee bean, with lingering appleskin.   Not a big Brown Ale   Smells stronger than it tastes.   Decent, but still somewhat average.

Bottle thanks to Cbkschubert. Poured a hugh gushing cola head. Settled down a bit but leftt a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is malt, brown sugar, and a light coating of hops. Flavor is bitter but balanced and smooth with a nice sweet roasted malt overtones. This had a sweet sugary taste at first that reminded me of a coke but in a soft carbonation way.Pretty good Brown Ale.

Bottle from a generous friend in Phoenix!. Thanks Mojo! Pours a cola colored brown with a small light tan head. Aroma of nuts and caramel. A dry thin bodied beer that has an intial sweet taste of roasted malt and toffee in the beginning but finshes with a slight bitter flavor. Not a bad beer at all.

Dark brown bubbly head with a khaki head which is very shiny. Smell is musty and a bit doughy with small hints of coffe beans. Taste is very watered down and sparkly almost like a toasted flavored alka seltzer.

12oz bottle poured ruby brown in color with a small off white head. Aroma of chocolate malt and caramel. Taste was watery chocolate with a small bitterness. Clean but not too many flavors going on in this one.

12 Oz. Bottle courtesy of FlacoAlto. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Smells of hazelnut, caramel, chocholate. Initial taste of light chocholate, followed by a harsh metallic taste which almost led me to pour it out, but i didn’t and it did improve when it warmed bringing some caramels flavors with it.
