Bottled. A dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, that makes it a bit acidic, combined with notes of milk chocolate.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Warm, slightly hazy orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Lightly burned malt aroma. Light and almost watery body. Roasted - almost burned - malt accents ad a nutty whiff. Some bitterness in the finish. 290308

12 fl oz bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours dark brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma is roasted caramel malt and a light chocolate note. Flavour is hardroasted malt and bitter coffee note. Minor chocolate note in addition. Finish is bitter and light acidic.

Dark brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and coffee notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, coffee and bready notes. Ends sweet.

(draft) Dark red brown body. Aroma is nutty, with medium sweetness. Taste is quite nutty, very malty, slightly bitter, and smooth.

The flavour has notes of roasted malt, a roasted bitterness, hints of coffee and chocolate, hints of flower and nuts and some grapefruit, that makes it rather dry. The overall impression is somewhat thin, and even if a BA is one of the lighter beers, I still prefer them to be smooth, round and pleasant, not edgy like this one.
