| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 6, 2008 The Fonefan/Brugmansia Cnudde tasting. Courtesy of Papsoe. Red-brown with notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, a roasted bitterness, hints of coffee and chocolate, hints of flower and nuts and some grapefruit, that makes it rather dry. The overall impression is somewhat thin, and even if a BA is one of the lighter beers, I still prefer them to be smooth, round and pleasant, not edgy like this one.
