Commercial Description:
"Balance" is the key description for this smooth and refreshing Southwestern-style Blonde Ale. Nimbus Dirty Güera is brewed with the finest domestic pale malts and world-class Cara-Pils and Munich malts. Our use of select Perle and German Hallertau hops lends to the beer’s pleasant floral nose: low in fruitiness and mild in ester production. This combination produces a light, clean and crisp balance between malts and hops. Our Blonde’s subtle sweet undertones are derived from pure mesquite-flavored "killer-bee" honey that is harvested from hives in Bisbee, Arizona.

Bottle; orange tinted yellow in color. Aroma of lemon, bread and fresh cut grass. Very malty and lemony in the flavor with an earthy, grassy finish. A pretty good version of the style.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a one finger white head and ok lacing. Nose is earthy and sweet malts. Taste is honey, malt and light citrus. Medium mouth feel. Easy drinker.

Poured into Red Sox pint glass. Dark golden color, very cloudy...medium head that dies slowly. Smells a little malty, but no real definitive nose. Tastes very full for a blonde. Complex, but more confusing than balanced. Sweet almost citrus undertone. Not bad, not great.

Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head. Aroma of malt and yeast. Flavor of yeast, malt, a little fruit and a touch of honey. This one was just odd for me.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Slightly hazy golden with a small, rough, white head. Odd unclean aroma of tart fruit and coffee (!). Light in body, unclean fruit accents. No real bitterness. An odd one indeed. 160408

Clear golden with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with light yeasty notes. Flavor goes same way.

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a small white ehad. Swet and spicy aroma of fruits and caramel. Strange spicy flavour of overriped fruits and hops. Hoppy finish.
