Commercial Description:
"Balance" is the key description for this smooth and refreshing Southwestern-style Blonde Ale. Nimbus Dirty Güera is brewed with the finest domestic pale malts and world-class Cara-Pils and Munich malts. Our use of select Perle and German Hallertau hops lends to the beer’s pleasant floral nose: low in fruitiness and mild in ester production. This combination produces a light, clean and crisp balance between malts and hops. Our Blonde’s subtle sweet undertones are derived from pure mesquite-flavored "killer-bee" honey that is harvested from hives in Bisbee, Arizona.

Dark gold with a small head. Slightly peppery aroma. Bland flavor. Dull. Could be better if they dried it out a bit and made it a bit livelier on the palate.

Bottle from trade with cbkschubert! Nose of hops, citrus malt, and a little tartness; Gold with a tiny off-white head; flavor contrasts a little tartness, with some spicy hops, and a little citrus.

Golden, light head and nice lacing, quickly dissipating. Nose of sweetened pale malt, light husk and a touch of hops, fairly floral. The flavor is balanced, not too sweet with a bit more husk and a watery body. Thin boring finish, clean though.

12 oz bottle via trade with cbkschubert. Pours gold with a slight haze, big white head that leaves quickly. Sour, grainy corny nose. Not a good sign. Nice lace. Very light flavor. Very. Mild sweet malt, a touch of light spice and a hint of honey. The thing here is LIGHT. Nimbus has better offerings.

Bottle from trade with cbkschubert! Poured a hazy orange with a thin white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma found sour citrus and grain. The flavor was of fruits, spices, and citrus with a slight caramel background. Light but almost creamy. Not bad. Thanks Craig!!

Pour was hazy amber with basically no head and little lacing. The aroma was a little off with some light hops the only thing beer-like to it. The flavor was quite a surprise for a "blonde ale," as this one had a lot to it. Nice caramel malts in the flavor, some honey, spices (somewhat festbier-like), and a nicely hopped (floral) balance to it. Came across somewhat like a lager, crisp and low in ale flavor "noise." Very impressed, but this can’t really be a "blonde" ale. I’d change the classification if I could only figure out what it really is. A great grab from my last AZ trip in any event.

A light orange/gold color. An aroma of malt and very light fruitiness. A flavor of sweet malt and a tinge of bitter that last and isn’t overbearing. A decent beer but the light alcohol is just too light. I could drink many of them even with my low tolerance for alc. I would call it an excellent middle of the day beer.

12 oz Bottle: Good looking beer, a nice little head, with some carbonation, not the best looksing beer i’ve seen. The aroma just isnt quite right, if you ask me. ITs lemony, dirty/sweraty socks, skunky, and unrine, vanillla. the taste is biscuty/vanilla wafers, hops, grass, citrus, lemon.
