Usually at a brewery I find that their common Hefe is actually an "American Wheat" and isn’t worth a heap of spent malt. But this one suprised me. Some real Banana and clove aromas. Bubble gum on the flavor that turned more clove like as it warmed. I really enjoyed this one... Surprisingly. Bockyhorsey (2561), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 22, 2007 Tap @ Brewery. Decent Banana aroma along with some sourness. Hazy Yellow body with white head. Had a zesty citrus banana and vanilia flavor. Mild soapy aftertaste on the palate. Decent hefe. GlenVargas (120), El Paso, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 12, 2007 The Nimbus hefeweizen (on tap at the brewery) was a cloudy bright yellow with a respectable white head, and it had that soapy, vegetable smell with a tail of lemon. The taste is incredibly sweet, fruity, yeasty, and wheaty--substantially flavored and yet very crisp. I could notice a strong floral quality about the beer, but there was enough citrus and spice to keep things from turning too bitter/gross. cbkschubert (2029), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Growler - Pours a cloudy light golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Aroma is light yeast, esters (banana), and spice. Flavor is light banana and yeast. Has a light bitterness. Light body. Palate was a little watery even for a Hefe. Still, a decent Hefe. scottyg (79), Gainesville, Florida, USA

Waaaaay to sweet, and leaves your lips smacking. A decent flavor, but the aftertaste just kills it. aleman2004 (8), USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Feb 18, 2004 A nice easy drinking & refreshing beer typical to its style. I drink it regularly and enjoy it very much.

Medium brown-amber and a moderate white head which dissipated for me. Decent wheaty (duh) malty flavor, nice smooth mouthfeel. Finishes smooth but not clean.
