Commercial Description:
A traditional stout using dark roasted malted barley to create a full-bodied ale. Rounded with the smooth flavor of oats, the addition of English Kent Goldings hops produces a creamy stout that has proven to be a favorite.

Thanks to turdferguson for sharing. Pours a dark black that allows some light. No head, kind of inky and filmy. Nose is not good, papery, old, musty old hops and cardboard, dirty. Flavor is the same, dirty and musty, lots of off flavors. Didnt enjoy.

Bottle via trade with nbutler11. Pours a slick dark brown with no head. Aroma is roasted malt and some bitter chocolate. Mouthfeel is rather thin. Not a strong flavour but hints of more chocolate, some metal, a touch of hops some smoke in the end. Nothing spectacular but drinkable.

Bottle thanks to cbkshubert. Pours black with brown edges and small beige head. The aroma is obvious oats, some hot cocoa, some roasted grain, and some earthy hops. The flavor is tinny coffee, oats, a little bit of tar and bitter chocolate. It finishes a little drier than I expect from a sweet stout, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Decent enough.

12 oz bottle via trade with nbutler11. Thanks! Aroma has a nice coffee nose roasted malt, burnt undertones, and sort of woodsy. Appearance is black with a minimal tan head that is almost like a soapy film. Taste is super thin, watery for stout, maybe a little malt, and some chocolate and a little smoke. Palate is carbonated with a lingering malt presence remaining in the aftertaste. Overall, It is kind of underwhelming. It had a great scent and appearance but the flavor and palate just went away into nothing. Cheers!

12oz bottle. Dark molasses like pour. Looks thick. Quite a roasty aroma with plenty of malt and touches of coffee. The flavor follow suit with very roasty/burnt malt grains. That is really the dominant flavor profile. Not a lot of noticeable oatmeal in this one. Semi-dry finish, medium body. Drinkable but dull.

Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Smells of sweet malt, light spice. Tastes of chocolate, some light roasted malt, some cocoa splashes on the finish.

Nose of raisins, and oats. Flavor of toasted oats. Seems a bit one-dimensional, but the flavor is far from bad. Also seems somehow thin and watery... Not my favorite offering from this brewery, but not bad at all.
