Commercial Description:
A traditional stout using dark roasted malted barley to create a full-bodied ale. Rounded with the smooth flavor of oats, the addition of English Kent Goldings hops produces a creamy stout that has proven to be a favorite.

Poured into Red Sox pint glass. Pitch black, next to zero carbonation. Non-existent head. Nose isn’t over pronounced. Some malt, coffee scents. Easier to drink than I thought, thinner than it poured. A little lighter in the palate, but a great aftertaste rich w/coffee and chocolate. Nice combo of taste and drinkability.

12oz bottle, courtesy of secret santa, pour is anice deep dark brown, taste is awesome to me, malty roasty and everything i want from a stout without being overbearing like some impy’s... dry finish rounds out the taste, which just ends the delightfulness.

Bottle @<a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/forums/cnudde-ølsmagn target=_new> Cnudde Tasting.. Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted. coffee, dust, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

Poured a very dark bornw/black with a small brown head. Aroma is very much coffee and roasted malts. Flavor is also burnt coffee and dry malts, I would consider this a regular stout, i little too dry for a sweet stout.

12 oz bottle. Poured into a pint glass with an oily black color and small tan head. Nose of roasted malts and mild nuts. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Wow this stuff is light. Initial taste is vinous, soy sauce, mollasses and roasted malts become apparent. Mid palate of red fruits and mild cocoa. Finishing roasted and mild hop balance. Palate duration is good despite the watery mouthfeel. Roasted malt leaves a good impression. Mildly dry. Good head retention. Too light for me but not bad.

12oz bottle came as an extra in my trade with Shyam. Thanks! Pours a opaque black with a bubbly cola tan head with an overall watery consistency. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, crackers, and sugar. Flavor is very similar, roasted malts and nuts obviously, but also very sweet and sugary. Reminded me of eating a dark chocolate cookie. Finish is dry and sweet. A definite session beer, maybe a little pedestrian, but enjoyable.

Pours a black/brown color with a GORGEOUS light brown head. Smells of woody chocolate with maybe a lightly roasted oatmeal scent. Same flavors, but with a slightly oily taste. Vinegar, maybe? Almost tastes like a cross between a stout and a salad. Tastes a little smokey too, maybe? Taste starts to disappoint after a while. Still, unique, and a beautiful beer!
