Commercial Description:
A traditional stout using dark roasted malted barley to create a full-bodied ale. Rounded with the smooth flavor of oats, the addition of English Kent Goldings hops produces a creamy stout that has proven to be a favorite.

Bottle from deftim13. Black body with a tiny tan head. Roasted, coffee and chocolate nose with a little yeast and licorice. Lightly sweet taste with roast, chocolate and molasses. Flavor is watery overall. Medium body is thin with light carbonation.

12oz. bottle, labeled at 5.0% abv. Thanks to hellbilly. Aroma is full of dark, sweet malts, woth roasty coffee, creamy chocolate, toffee and a hint of smoke. Opaque brown-black color with a thin, fading head. Flavor is highly toasted, roasty and smoky with grainy coffee, cocoa, hazelnut and dark brown sugar. Finish sees a touch of dryness and lightly spicy, herbal bitterness. Low in effervescence, thin and smooth on the palate with a light-medium body. This is a flavorful, easygoing stout.

Bottle from FlacoAlto. Dry, roasty, very oaty aroma, chalk and prune. Nice. Very little head on the pour, though what’s there sticks around. Flavor is a touch lactic with an oatmeal sweetness and clean, relatively dry finish. A very tasty, sessionable stout.

12oz bottle from Bevmo Carmel Mountain. Pours like a traditional Stout, deep brown almost black with a big tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate on the nose. Finish was sweet and pretty smooth.

A serviceable stout with some roasted coffee grinds, drinkable. Dark brown with no head, some coffee grind aroma. Medium mouthfeel.

Standard and nitro tasted side by side. Light roasted coffee in the aroma and favor. Nitro, as you would expect, sacrifices some flavor depth for a creamier palate and nice head.
