Commercial Description:
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

Poured amber with off white head, taste of sweet hops with little to no bitter, and no malt sweetness. Maybe a bad batch, but the hops did not come through well and did not taste like a good pale ale.

Clear amber color/ white head. Mild floral hop, soapy aromas. Frothy mouthfeel. Floral hop, caramel malt flavors with a mild polycarbonate taste to finish.

This bottle nearly exploded on opening. When I poured a glass, the foam filled the glass and took minutes to settle to a half inch on the bottom. Fairly typical hop aroma for a pale ale. A little tart (perhaps it’s going bad) and a bit of a metallic finish.

Extra in a trade with cbkschubert. Pours hazy orangish color with white head. Aromas of citrus and bread dough. Flavors of orange and grapefruit with a bit of malt sweetness and some hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonaton. Thanks Craig.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Sparky27. Pour is hazy yellow golden slight greenish - with an explosive white head, extremely foamy and falls pretty slowly. The initial pour was about 1/2 inch liquid and 7 inches foam in my Free State Willibecher. Bunch of lacing. Aroma of faint lemon citrus sourness, some floral hop grassy bitterness behind that. Taste is the citric slight tart lemon sourness, hoppy earthy resin bitterness, floral notes and some almost wheat graininess. Palate is thin, drinkable, dry grassy finish. Interesting take on an APA, I would have guessed this was a wheat ale. Thanks for sending it my way, Eric!

This beer has way to much head... foaming even on a drink from a glass. For a pale ale to hoppy. Not pleasant in general. I’ll not try this again.

On tap. Very little in the nose, though a bit of floral as it warmed up. A pale golden color with very little head that fades quickly (not sure if that’s because the pour wasn’t quite perfect-I wasn’t involved in that part). A pleasantly hoppy flavor with a kick of yeast at the finish. A bit of orangey-citrus flavor and a nice floral note help this beer along significantly. Perhaps a bit of a simple beer, but sometimes that’s all I want. Very satisfying.
