Commercial Description:
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

Bottle. Floral aroma, frothy white head that lingers and laces. Decent amount of bitterness in the beer, full of that wonderful cascade flavor. Medium-bodied, malts are in the background and add just a bit of sweetness. Pretty decent stuff from the good folks in Tucson.

Bottle, thanks to cbkshubert, shared at Xmas Eve Eve Eve. Pours light gold with sticky white head. Nice floral hoppy aroma with some sweetness and some crackers. The flavor is subtle floral bitterness, some sourish grain. Herbal finish. Decent beer.

tronraner’s Xmas Eve Eve Eve Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to tronraner. Golden honey color with a thin grabby white head. Grapefruity citrus aroma light maltiness. Taste is thin malt, dry and a lasting finish of citrus hops.

12 oz. shared by tronraner at his Christmas gathering. Hazy honey-butter color with a lasting head. Light caramel-citrus aroma. Flavor is similar, with more citrus and some woody hop. Light-medium, smooth and dry. Another nice session ale.

Yellow, nice foamy white head. faint grapey or winey aroma. Flavor is pretty dry at first, with a foughish hoppy finish. Not overly complex, but tasty nonetheless. Thanks to tronraner at the Maryville tasting.

Hazy copper color pour with a tight foamy head. Aroma and flavor are mostly citrus hops with some toasted malt in the background. Light grapefruity finish. Not bad at all.

12 oz bottle. Maybe I am grumpy tonight, but my ratings are just not lining up with the averages. I had this amber looking beer and was not impressed with the aroma, which lacked in depth. Maybe some light maltiness and some underlining citrus. The flavor was very one dimensional, pretty much tasted like an amber ale versus a pale ale. There should have been a more hoppy presence in this beer. The mouthfeel was on the light side too. I won’t purchase again.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with an absolutely massive frothy head! The nose was complex and citrusy. Taste was terribly complex, with grapefruit leading the citrus flavors, with sweetness in the front and a nice bitter hoppy finish. The palate was smooth and pleasant. I LOVED this beer! It was on par with Alpha King, and I’ll gladly go back for more and more.
