Commercial Description:
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops giving it grassy and grapefruity notes - my guess is Cascade. The flavor has crisp malty notes with strong notes of grass and hops, as well as lighter notes of citrus and fruit, leading to a dry and very bitter finish.

Slightly hazy golden with medium white head. Sweet aroma with grapefruit, honey, hops and caramel notes. Sweet hoppy flavor that holds notes of fruit and caramel. Ends bitter.

From bottle, 3A Papsoes New Zealand vs US blind tasting. Pours slight hazy yellow/orange with a lacing white head. Light peachy and mild citrusy hops aroma. Fruity hoppy aroma. Very subdued malt base. Solid and growing fresh hoppy bitterness into the finish.

12oz from Sparky27 - thanks, Eric! Looks like they changed the label on this bad boy. Interesting aroma right off the back - almost a grassy vibe, much like a strong farmhouse. Extremely lively carbonation, chewy mouthfeel, and a really dry finish. Not bad, by any stretch, but I was in the mood for an APA and got kind of a third-rate Bam Biere.

This deep golden ale poured with a fluffy white head. There a strange fruity and grassy taste behind a hoppy base that is quite unpleasant.

I think I may have gotten a corrupted 6 pack because this beer is barely drinkable. The carbonation is off the charts and it’s impossible to pour even a quarter of it in a glass because the head skyrockets to the top. But, I’ve tried two, and at 7.99 a six, I’ve wasted some dough. Not sure what’s wrong but beer shouldn’t taste like this.

Pine and fruit in the aroma. A good hit of hops in this one, but flavor remains a bit simple.
