Commercial Description:
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

A light copper color, and very clear, it has a fairly white head to it as well. There is a nice hoppy - floral aroma to it. Very smooth up front, followed by a nice hop flavor presence, that has a bit of pine needle presence. It finishes with a nice bitterness to it. There is a good amount of body, this is a nice beer.

Pours pale yellow, slightly hazy, medium head. Got a sour hoppy aroma, slight vinegar smell to it. May be some quality issues here. Poor balance. Hoppy and bitter, but no malt, no body to back it up. Mouthfeel is watery. Weak take on an APA.

Bottle. Amber beer with a nice off-white head. Low citrus aroma. Orange, grapefruit flavor with backing sweet malt. A bit thin. Some bitterness. Nice balance. Easy drinking.

Bottle. Pours a lighter golden yellow with a head that just won’t quit. Very carbonated. Nose is a little funky but not unpleasant. Flavor is very dry and bitter. In the distance, I think there are some floral hops but who can tell as the bitterness is there from the get go. Not my thing.

Bottled as Pale Ale with a Byzantine mosaic style label (gold halo behind the mascot’s head). Same 5.5%. Decent hoppy aroma; little indication of malt. Light golden amber color with a white head that quickly flattened. Starts with hop, quickly balanced by malt, then the hop seems to take precedence. Medium+ mouthfeel. The finish is dry and bitter. Really good. Balanced in the middle, but not at the finish.

Filled my pint glass as a glowing reddish orange color with nice head retention. Aroma was a welcome of flowering hop and made the impression that this was a solid PA. Flavor was a direct hit of hop and made me want to get a glass of water to go with this. Nice strong pale ale right here. 6 pack recommended

Bottle: Pale golden, slight haze, large foamy white head, fairly nice lacing, lively carbonation.   Musty wet hop nose, slight touch of cardboard.   Mild dirty malt and hop flavors, seems a touch grainy but not enough to make me cringe.   Picks up a little overcooked vegetable near the finish.   Light bodied, bubbley mouthfeel.   Seems to attain a bit of sour funk lingering after the finish.   Likely not what was intended.   A little muddled, otherwise tiz okay.

Bottle from BevMo, La Mesa. Pours a dark golden color. Very floral/herbal aroma with strong bitter citrus notes. Some vegetal celery flavors rightup front. Goes into a dry spicy bitterness. Some sweetness. Not bad, but not a great APA.
